At AMCS, we aim to connect communities for the sake of Good. We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are underserved to rebuild and restructure. Our focus lies on community efforts, including shelter, food aid, community healthcare, and educational opportunities. We firmly believe it takes all of us working together to make a positive contribution, and if you work on creating the most well equipped society you can, most of the problems simply work themselves out.

Education

Since 2010, our Board has been providing ACT and SAT coaching and tutoring to help high school students enhance their application to the college of their choice. We continue to build on this experience, as we expand this service for the 2016-17 school year.

Nutrition

Empty stomachs hurt. They break concentration and make the future seem impossible. Giving food is essential to creating health. The Flint Muslim Food Pantry is an agency we support and sponsor, as they work to provide hunger prevention services in Flint.

Healthcare

We are working with local healthcare providers to serve the underserved and uninsured population in Genesee county. Look for more details to come soon about the specific projects we will be supporting.

A core principle of our vision is including a strong service component in our projects and initiatives. We help build future leaders by supporting experiential learning through a community service commitment in their education.
